This month’s ‘First Tuesday’ words and music event at Aqualibrium featured a mother and son duo.
Jackie Fulton, local Tai Chi guru, provided the words, while her son, Lewis Semple, was responsible for the musical offerings.
Once again a sizeable audience enjoyed a relaxed and laid back evening from the library’s comfortable seats.
Lewis treated everyone to a selection of his thoughtful, tuneful, lyrical songs full of depth and insight. Balancing this were Jackie’s lighthearted vignettes of travel on the 926 bus and the array of delightful characters she meets along the way.
Next month sees a musical performance by Anne Leith, Les Oman and Alex Johnson, with poetry from Angus Martin.
It will take place on the First Tuesday of the month – April 7, at 7pm.
Anyone who would be keen to perform either songs or spoken word at future events is invited to email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07913 203610.
