Sheep worrying

Police officers were called to High Dunasherry, Tayinloan, last Wednesday January 15, in the early evening due to reports of a large black dog chasing sheep within a field.

No MOT or insurance

After being told by members of the public that a vehicle had been parked for a number of weeks on Harbour Street, Tarbert, police officers made inquiries last Thursday.

The owner of the vehicle was traced and it was revealed it allegedly had no MOT or insurance policy in place. The man was subsequently charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
