Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without Kintyre’s ultimate feel-good cure for eating  and drinking too much.

Campbeltown Running Club is once again hosting its Boxing Day Slog in the Sand.

There is a 10K and a fun 5K, which even walkers and their dogs can join in with, and best of all, it is all in aid of a very good cause.

So get along to Westport Beach on December 26 in plenty of time for the registration which opens at 10.30am, ready for the 11am start.

It costs £3 to join in the fun and all the proceeds are going to the Sunshine Room at Campbeltown Hospital.
