Police seized a BMW car after it was allegedly found to have no valid MOT certificate or insurance in place.
The incident happened last Thursday afternoon, on the A83 near Campbeltown, when the car was stopped by police for a routine check. The 30-year-old driver was charged with the alleged offences and he will be reported to the procurator fiscal as well as the vehicle being seized.
A 22-year-old woman was arrested, charged and issued with a recorded police warning early on Friday morning at Roading Cottages, Campbeltown, for behaving in an abusive manner.

Police have arrested and charged a 45-year-old man after he allegedly stole a mobile phone and a pair of spectacles when in the Kinloch Bar on Saddell Street, Campbeltown, last Monday evening. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Police visited a property on Ralston Road, Campbeltown, on Saturday and as a result a 42-year-old man was allegedly found to be in the possession of Methadone, which had not been prescribed for him, and cocaine. A sum of cash was also seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
The man was charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
After an incident in a property near Ballygrant, Islay, early on Monday morning, a man was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman. He was charged with the offence, held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Police are appealing for information after a wire fence was damaged by being deliberately cut in several places.
The fence is behind a property on Ralston Road, Campbeltown, and the damage is believed to have happened between the mornings of Monday November 25 and Wednesday 27.
