NHS Highland is recruiting an external advisor with the remit of providing advice, challenge and oversight of plans and progress within its Culture Programme.

Professor Boyd Robertson, of NHS Highland, said: ‘I will personally be leading the selection of this role to complement our existing resource with additional expertise to take forward our cultural programme and hold us to account for delivery of the plans.’

To ensure an independent and external perspective on plans, which was recommended in the Sturrock Review, the post is not open to current employees, contractors or non executive directors of NHS Highland or other NHS Scotland Boards.

This is a brand new role and so the successful post holder will play a key part in shaping the role and its priorities.
