Breath test

A 59-year-old woman was stopped while driving her car on High Street, Campbeltown, on Thursday last week and police asked her to take a breath test, which was positive. A blood sample was taken for analysis.

Vehicle seized

Police have seized a vehicle driven by a 44-year-old man on Kinloch Road, Campbeltown, last Monday evening after it was allegedly discovered to have no insurance in force and one defective tyre. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Sheep injured

One sheep died and others were injured in a field near Tayinloan after a number of dogs allegedly attacked the sheep on Wednesday afternoon last week. A man and woman, both aged 32, are to be the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.

Alleged breach of bail

A woman who allegedly breached her bail conditions in the early hours of Saturday morning was arrested, charged and held for court. A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal following the incident on Burnbank Street, Campbeltown, when the 24-year-old woman allegedly breached the conditions imposed by the court that she should not be in company of another named individual.
