The members of the Largieside SWI have been cooking and crafting up a storm at their meetings this season.
The honours so far are: Oven treacle scone: Helen Steel, five points. Hallowe’en mask: Adrienne Bradley, five points. Strawberry jam: Ann Clark, five points; Kate Lowe, Jessie Main, three points; Fiona Macpherson, two points; Pat Rawson, one point.
Flower arrangement: Ann Clark, Amanda White, five points; Denise McKeown, Helen Steel, four points; Pat Rawson, Adrienne Bradley, three points; Adrienne Bradley, Kate Lowe, two points.
The institute’s next meeting will be on November 21 with a demonstration by Denise McKeown on how to make hand-crafted Christmas baubles.
