Chase from Paw Patrol was the star of The Originial Factory Shop’s grand reopening last Saturday following a refurbishment.

A life-size version of the children’s television cartoon dog greeted shoppers young and old as they visited the new-look Campbeltown branch of the discount department store for the first time in almost a month.

A group from Kintyre Schools Pipe Band performed twice on the day, and member Shanna Brown had the honour of cutting the ribbon to officially reopen the renovated store.

There was face painting to keep the little ones entertained while mums, dads and other adults browsed a range of opening day offers.
