Bad behaviour led to a £180 fine for a 29-year-old man when he appeared before Campbeltown Sheriff Court last week.

Thomas Mullholland, whose address was given as The Caravan, Arduine Farm, Lochgilphead, admitted behaving in a threatening and abusive manner, shouting swearing and acting in an aggressive manner at an address in Tarbert on June 28 this year.

‘My client fully apologises for his actions,’ said Stephen MacSporran, defence agent.

Sheriff Patrick Hughes said, as he handed down the fine: ‘I do take into account your previous good character and what has been said on your behalf.’
