Cannabis found

Police charged a 58-year-old Campbeltown man and issued him with a recorded police warning after he was stopped and searched on Tuesday lunchtime last week on Witchburn Road, Campbeltown, and cannabis was found in his possession.

Disturbance

Early on Sunday morning, a 32-year-old man was arrested in Burnside Square, Campbeltown, after he behaved in a disorderly manner and challenged other men to fight. He was later issued with a recorded police warning.

Police warning

A 37-year-old man was charged and issued with a recorded police warning after officers were called to a property on Harbour Street, Tarbert, on Monday afternoon last week.

Schoolbag stolen

Police are looking into the theft of a school bag from a bus stop on Main Street, Bowmore, Islay, on Friday afternoon last week.
