We’re all at sea for this week’s photograph of the week. Visitor Peter Talbot took it on Wednesday July 24 as he approached the island of Sanda in late afternoon sunshine.

He said: ‘I was on a cruising course on-board the Sport Scotland, Cumbrae Watersport Centre’s yacht ‘Somerled’. We’d arrived in Campbeltown at 11.30pm on the Tuesday, and had enjoyed our stay and look around on the Wednesday morning before heading off towards Sanda.

‘We’d experienced some heavy fog on our passage over from Campbeltown, so it was nice to arrive in Sanda in the sunshine. I caught the image on my trusty Canon Eos 1100d, which is still going strong after years of heavy use.’
