Kintyre’s Nimble Fingers crafters presented a cheque for £800 to Campbeltown’s Police Scotland Youth Volunteers (PSYV) to enable them to take part in the annual PSYV event in July. This will be the first time the group has taken part.

Kate O’May from Nimble Fingers said: ‘They needed £800… and we did it! It was great team work all round that helped us reach our target.’

Nimble Fingers is now preparing for its next event, a fantasy-land-themed craft fair to be held in Campbeltown Town Hall on August 17.
