An intact light bulb and a plastic dinosaur were the biggest surprise finds at another successful Carradale Bay beach clean.
Plastic rope, snack wrappers and the ever-present cotton bud stems again formed the bulk of the rubbish found but this year a full drum of used engine oil was also removed from the beach.
Organisers wish to thank all the volunteers, including holiday makers who joined in, not to mention all the people who take time to keep the beach looking great all year round.
Thanks also go to Kate and Malcolm Trott for providing refreshments.
