Kintyre Holstein Breeders elected Donald McKay as its new chairman at the AGM.

Also at the recent event, in the Ardsheil Hotel, former chairman Sandy Pirie was re-elected back on the committee as secretary, replacing Linda McLean and Thomas Ralston was elected vice-chairman.

Both Archie Armour and Gavin Semple stood down from the committee and where replaced by Thomas Irwin and James McLean.

The new members will join the existing treasurer Alister Graham and other committee members Kenneth Galbraith and John Smith.

Following the AGM The James McLean and KF Cup were presented for most points in club competitions and shows.

Sandy Pirie won the KF Cup and Gavin Semple won the James McLean Cup.

Members joined an informative evening with the SAC whose guest speaker, David Keiley, from Kite Consulting, spoke about improving milk quality.
