Mini-rugby players will scrum down on the Meadows at noon tomorrow.

Fresh from a visit to Oban an enthusiastic group  of P4/5 and P6/7 will play a Campbeltown Kintyre Dalriada.

Last week six clubs took part in the Oban event supported by travelling parents who gave encouragement and support from the touchlines.

There is an obvious improvement within the members although tackling is still suspect but tries were scored.

Despite a few lapses it was an improvement on the day from their last outing at Lochgilphead.

Coaches praised Aiden and Jack who joined Mid –Argyll to allow them to make up a full team.

Tomorrow five rugby clubs are due in Kintyre and it is hoped that two full teams will be fielded.
