A junior team from Campbeltown and District Junvenile Football Association netted the fair play award at Gartcairn Winter Football Festival.

The U13s, coached by Rhys Blair and Dougie Renton, took home the award which recognises exemplary behaviour from players, parents and coaches.

They joined CDJFA’s 2011, 2010 and 2009 teams at the annual indoors festival last weekend.

It was a late shift for the U13s with their last game at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility at 8.40pm on Sunday before travelling home.
