Campbeltown Brass players blew their way to success at The Scottish Youth Solo and Ensemble Championships in Livingston.

Amy Paterson, described as a ‘tenor horn ace’ by Les Neish in The British Bandsman magazine’s Christmas special, was crowned Scottish Intermediate Champion.

Amy also featured as one of the quartet of Hannah Oman, Rebecca Semple and Suen Yee Walker who won the youth ensemble, playing together for possibly their last major competition.

See page 17 for a photograph of the youth ensemble.
