Half a dozen players in three age-group teams, 2007s, 2009s and 2010s, will battle it out at the ninth Gartcairn Winter Football Festival.

This weekend’s events, at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Centre, tomorrow and Sunday offer a winter version of the successful Campbeltown and District Juvenile Football Association event which will be held on Saturday June 1.

That event is filling up fast and has the following spaces left: Two 2007, 2009 and 2011, one girls team and a few 2012 and 2013 spaces.
