The Rest and be Thankful will close for four nights in March for resurfacing.
BEAR Scotland plans to work on a 540-metre stretch of west bound carriageway alongside the A83’s landslide mitigation project from Sunday March 10 between 8pm and 5am.
The Rest and be Thankful will remain open, with a 30mph speed restriction and single lane traffic lights between 5am and 8pm.
The Old Military Road will not be the diversion route.
Motorists heading to Glasgow from Campbeltown will have to use the A819 to the A85 near Dalmally and from Tyndrum take the A82 down Loch Lomondside.
The diversion adds about 30 minutes to the journey, but emergency access will always be available.
