Songwriters and bands are needed to rock the 2019 Kintyre Songwriters Festival (KSF).
The 12th annual KSF will be held in Campbeltown on the early May holiday weekend from May 3 to May 5 2019.
KSF spokesman Stephen Johnson said: ‘The festival was set up to let locals hear the music of local songwriters and support the performing arts in Kintyre.
‘It aims to accommodate as many local performers as possible, so if you write and/or perform songs, the organisers want to hear from you.’
Festival performing spaces are limited to ensure that local talent can be given priority.
The organisers urge musicians, singer-songwriters, bands and groups, of any genre, interested in getting involved to contact firstname.lastname@example.org. uk before Friday February 1.
Non-performing local songwriters who are interested in having their material performed at the festival should also get in touch.
The event has attracted performers from as far afield as Barcelona and Berlin, with previous guests including top Scottish acts like Roddy Woomble, Mull Historical Society, Frightened Rabbit, Pronto Mama, Rachel Sermanni and Admiral Fallow.
