COWAN – On December 29, 2018, to Ross and Emma, a beautiful daughter, Heidi. A little sister for Harper. Third granddaughter for Keith and Joyce, Lochgilphead, and fourth grandchild for Kenny and Karen Rogerson, Law, Lanarkshire.

Derek and Kirstin are

DEATHS
AGNEW – Peacefully, at his home, 4 Ionad Shomhairlie, Achahoish, by Lochgilphead, with his family by his side, on December 30, 2018, Kenneth Agnew, in his 83rd year, beloved husband of Esther Durnan and a dear uncle and great uncle. Funeral service was held at South Knapdale Parish Church, Achahoish, on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, followed by interment at Achnabreac Cemetery. Sadly missed.

CAUSTON – Peacefully, at Ardfenaig Nursing Home, Ardrishaig, on December 26, 2018, Margaret Brown Causton, in her 97th year, formerly of Saddell, last surviving daughter of the late Thomas Glen of Saddell, beloved wife of the late John Causton and a loving mother of the late Johnnie and Tommy.
DUNCAN – Peacefully, after a long illness, with his family by his side, at the Campbeltown Hospital, on December 28, 2018, Robert Riddell Duncan (Bobby), in his 81st year, 35 Castleacres, Campbeltown, dearly beloved son of the late Archie and Elsie Duncan, much loved brother of Jean and the late Grace, devoted uncle of Duncan, Jane, Archie, Elizabeth-Ann and Sandra, and a loving great uncle.
KELLY – Suddenly, but peacefully, with her family by her side, and at her home in Alexandria, on January 1, 2019, Elizabeth Helen Jordan Kelly, in her 72nd year, formerly of Knockscalbert Way, Campbeltown, devoted wife of Richard, dearly loved and adored mum to Audrey-Anne, loving mother-in-law of David, much loved, cherished and proud nana to Darren, and loving sister to Robert and William. Funeral service in Alexandria Cooperative Funeral Parlour, on Monday, January 14 at 1.00pm, followed by a service in the Lorne and Lowland Parish Church, Campbeltown, on Tuesday, January 15 at 12.00 noon, thereafter to Kilkerran Cemetery. Family and friends please accept this intimation and invitation. Family flowers only please. A retiral collection will be held in aid of Alzheimer’s. She willbe sorely missed by all, including her many dear friends and neighbours.
MCKERSIE – William Norman, died December 16, 2018, widower of Fay, father of Michael and Andrew, and grandfather of Robert. Formerly of Norwood, High Askomil, Campbeltown.
STEWART – On January 6, 2019, peacefully, at Lochside Care Home, Shandon, Helensburgh, Hamish Stewart, known as Skinner (former painter), of Chalmers Court, Inveraray, and formerly of Arkland, in his 79th year, first son of the late David and Catherine Stewart, Inveraray. Funeral private.
SWEENEY – Elizabeth Walker Ferrier (née Fleming), aged 75 years, dearly beloved wife of Charles and loving mother and grandmother, died peacefully at Strathcarron Hospice, on Thursday, January 3, 2019. Funeral service at Falkirk Crematorium, on Thursday, January 17 at 11.30am, to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but if desired, donations in lieu to Strathcarron Hospice welcome.

CAMPBELL – The family of the late Rosina Campbell would like to thank everyone most sincerely for the many kind expressions of sympathy and support received during their sad bereavement. Special thanks to Rev Robert MacLeod for a very fitting and comforting service, Stan Lupton Funeral Directors for professional services, Tarbert Hotel for excellent catering and to all who paid their last respects at church and graveside. Donations to Tarbert Parish Church totalled £330.
MAUCHLINE – Jane and family would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for all the lovely flowers, phone calls and visits after the sad passing of Duncan. Thanking everyone who attended the church service and at the graveside, Rev Fulcher for his uplifting and comforting service, and doctors and all the staff at Kintyre Care Home who looked after Duncan so well. Our thanks to Kenneth and Rhys Blair for personal attention and professional services, and to the Argyll Hotel for a lovely tea. The retiral collection for Kintyre Care Home Residents Fund raised £405.80.
