A rousing brass quartet lifted morale for shoppers stocking up on Christmas supplies.

The Campbeltown Brass instrumentalists squeezed into Tesco’s foyer on Saturday afternoon and blasted out festive carols, with a collection tin to raise funds.

The songs reverberated around the busy store and cheered customers up before they ventured out into the pouring rain and howling wind.

Scott MacAlister, Hannah Oman, Rebecca Semple and Amy Shaw cheered up shoppers.
