Campbeltown’s cat rescue heroes must be feline good after a purr-fect festive fundraiser.

The group’s annual coffee morning, last Saturday, in Campbeltown Town Hall, featured a raffle, baking and bottle stalls, and a sales table.

Frances Hill of Southend’s Muneroy Tearoom also baked and donated a cake, of which people could guess the weight, in the hope of winning the two-tiered masterpiece.

Donnie McLean of Campbeltown Cat Rescue said that £1,426 was raised and that he is ‘really grateful’ for everyone’s support.
