Using a combination of strokes an author joined Kintyre Amateur Swimming Club’s early morning session at 7am.
During his autumn Argyll lecture tour thriller writer, Michael J Malone, aims to swim 500 lengths of pools to raise funds for Break the Silence, a charity supporting survivors of childhood sex abuse.
Mr Malone completed 80 lengths each at swimming pools across the region including Dunoon, Helensburgh, Rothesay and Campbeltown.
Mr Malone aims to finish the swim in Ayr, his hometown. For more on Mr Malone’s Wee Toon visit see pages 26 and 27.
