Anti-social driving

A 21-year-old man was traced and issued with an anti-social behaviour warning after driving a white Range Rover in an anti-social manner at 5.30pm on Sunday November 11, on the A846 at Port Askaig, Islay.

Theft from house

An Ottoman chest, a wheelbarrow, ladders, an electric chainsaw and two ornamental plates were among items stolen from a house at Glenegedale, Islay, between June 1, 2015, and November 18, 2018.

Drugs possession

A 21-year-old man was issued with a recorded police warning after he was found to have cannabis when he was searched at 7pm on Wednesday November 21, in Calton Avenue, Campbeltown.

Man assaulted

A man assaulted another man in a pub on Shore Street, Campbeltown, at 10.15pm on Saturday November 24.

Serious assault

A 43-year-old man was arrested and charged after seriously assaulting a woman at 4.45am on Sunday November 25, on Dalaruan Street, Campbeltown.

Fireworks arrest

An 18-year-old man was arrested and charged on Saturday November 24, in relation to the four incidents of lit fireworks being put through letterboxes at Glenside, Campbeltown.

Police are investigating the above incidents and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to phone 101 or anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
