A sweet toothed youngster snaffled scones with cream and jam among eight other cakes at a Peninver fundraiser.

Lucy Mcnair, 8, did not stop there and also won a jar of 191 sweeties with her guess at the contents of a jar at the Sunday afternoon event, organised by Additional Support Needs assistant Amy McCallum.

Ms McCallum, 23, raised more than £800 towards her total of £2,000 needed to fund a month-long volunteering trip taking her skills to the children of Vietnam next summer.
