Police are seeking culprits for culpable and reckless behaviour after  at total of six potentially fatal firework incidents.

At about 8.50pm on Wednesday November 7, a lit firework was put through the letter box at two houses at Glenside, near Mill Street, Campbeltown.

Similar incidents occurred in High Street last week and again it was lucky that only minor damage was caused.

At Campbeltown Community Council, on Tuesday evening, Chief Inspector Marlene Bailey said that active inquiries are on-going into all the incidents and the police are looking at CCTV to identify offenders.

Police have been carrying out extra patrols and are investigating the incidents. Anyone with any information should call 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
