Knitters have kitted out Saddell and Carradale church with a unique display for its armistice commemoration this Sunday.

Reverend Steve Fulcher said that more than 800 poppies, hand knitted by church members and their friends, have gone into the display.

Photographer Alasdair Bennett said: ‘The display is receiving wide acclaim ahead of the remembrance service at 10am this Sunday.’
