Players, coaches and parents of Argyll’s young rugby fanatics scrummed down to Campbeltown for a Dalriada.
Last Saturday’s event saw a great turnout of players from Campbeltown Kintyre, Mid Argyll and Etive Vikings making their first foray to the deep south of the peninsula.
The Meadows matches, from 11am to 1pm, included teams from p4 to p7, U14 boys and U15 girls.
Rugby development officer Allan Wright said: ‘It was great to have such encouraging numbers for the U14 boys game between Mid Argyll and Kintyre and also for Campbeltown U15 Girls.
‘John, Chris, Duncan, Mick along with their team of parents put on a great show for all the visitors.’

Next Sunday is the Oban Lorne Dalriada Festival, 12pm at Glencruitten for P4/5, P6/7 and U14 Boys.
On Sunday November 11 the fun shifts to Lochaber Dalriada Festival from noon at Banavie.
