Carradale AFC’s number one supporter headed into his 66th year last week.

Iain ‘Neenie’ MacDougall was joined by staff and friends as he celebrated his 65th birthday at Woodlands Resource Centre last Thursday.

Neenie said: ‘I was born on September 27 1953 in Stornoway as my mum Cathy Buchanan was from the Outer Hebrides.

‘My dad, Alex MacDougall was a fisherman and we moved to Carradale in 1955.

‘I will be continuing the party this evening at The Glen.’
