I have confirmation from Salmon and Trout Conservation Scotland (STCS) director Andrew Graham-Stewart will attend the East Kintyre Community Council meeting on Thursday October 4 in Peninver Hall at 7pm.
Mr Graham-Stewart was interviewed for the BBC One Show recently.
This ia a link to The One Show and the section on salmon farming starts
just after three minutes.
There is a wide spectrum of interest in what he will say and potential questions from the floor may come from: Kintyre Angling Club, individual anglers, ghillies, stakeholders to the various waters with fishing rights entering the Kilbrannan Sound and salmon net rights and fish farms.
If we only permit Marine Harvest to promote its corporate pitch it is akin to my history teacher, back in 1985, allowing me to mark my own history homework. I’d have had an A star!
