A charity Open Putting Competition will be held on Sunday September 16 at Grammar Lodge Guest House, Campbeltown, from noon-4pm.

It will be a fun day for all the family, with ladies, gents and junior prizes, teas, coffees and baking, and there will be a bouncy castle to keep the kids entertained. The competition will be started by Belle Robertson.

All proceeds to the Mairi Semple Fund, a Kintyre charity which raises funds to help the people who have cancer and need financial aid to cover extra expenses.

An earlier event had to be postponed due to very bad weather, but it has now been rescheduled for this weekend.
