The 36 hole Machrihanish Dunes club championship was played in what could only be described as mixed conditions last weekend.
Gary Sheppard followed an opening round of 70 with a 72 on Sunday to defend the title he won in 2017, winning by four shots from David Lamont and five from Steven Gilmour.
Steven had the best handicap total over the two days, with Neil Irving finishing runner-up in that section.
A Mach Dunes spokesperson said: ‘Congratulations to all the winners, and many thanks to all the competitors for turning out to support this event.’
