Tarbert Golf Club’s annual mixed charity open attracted a party from Stockholm on a Scottish golf tour.

Local knowledge came to the fore in last Saturday’s event to raise money for Cancer Research.

Despite the best efforts of a number of visitors Tarbert members, Georgie Dickson and Gray Ferguson, took advantage of the great conditions for a winning score of 43 stableford points, nine ahead of their closest rivals Sheena Ferguson and Ian MacArthur.

The match raised about £500 for Cancer Research, and the club would like to thank everyone who contributed to a very enjoyable day.
