Summer’s dry sunny start finished with rain on Tuesday night although the warmth remained.

It is a steady drop of rain not a deluge and forecasters predict it will end on Wednesday afternoon. Thursday is expected to be dry with broken clouds and on Friday there will be a return to wall to wall sunshine.

Brollies and Sou’westers were on display in Campbeltown’s streets on Wednesday morning.
