A church elder presented awards to members of 1st Campbeltown Company Boys’ Brigade.

Wylie Hume made the presentations, watched by proud parents and relatives, during the company’s annual display on last Friday at Lorne and Lowland church hall

Guests of honour included Reverend William Crossan the company’s chaplain, session clerk Jean Durnan and the guild president Irene Miller

Company captain Alexander Nimmo gave a vote of thank to Margaret Nimmo, all leaders – Caitlyn Spree, Heather Spree, Nathan Armstrong – and guests.

The company held a church parade last Sunday and a barbeque  at Machrihanish on Tuesday.

This Session ends with a visit to Heads of Ayr Farm Park on Friday July 6 – ferry permitting.
