Community groups in Campbeltown have contributed to a study which found a quarter of local charities in the UK fear for their survival.

The Co-op asked a series of in-depth questions to 8,000 organisations, including 36 Kintyre causes that have benefitted from the Local Community Fund since it launched in September 2016.

The report coincides with the start of a campaign to encourage Co-op members to select the organisations they wish to support.

There is still just under £82,000 waiting to be allocated to groups in Argyll and Bute.
