Weather permitting Campbeltown’s putting green by the ferry terminal is tee’d up for business from 11am to 5.30pm everyday.

There are 18 holes on the seaside green next to the children’s play park and staff also have three play tents, mats for younger children and a small selection of safe toys.

South Kintyre Development Trust (SKDT) which manages the attraction has putters to suit all heights and a scorecard is provided.

At the end of May SKDT was awarded £75,000 from the Big Lottery Fund (BLF).

A BLF press release stated: ‘This funding will enable the organisation to not only continue but develop their activities at Campbeltown village hall.’
