A year ago the cross and plaque marking The Sailor’s Grave at Inneans Bay was renewed following an appeal by Campbeltown poet Angus Martin.

On Saturday May 19 Karen Murphy is organising a spring spruce up, for the lonely beach, at Inneans Bay and all are welcome.

A group hike will depart from the car park above Machrihanish, just past High Lossit before Ballygroggan Farm.

Lunch and liquid will be needed, walking boots and waterproofs are recommended.
