Mid Argyll’s mini rugby team will attend their next competition on Mull, on Saturday May 5, on a high after leaving the Kintyre festival unbeaten.

The Mid Argyll P4/5 and P6/7 teams won all their games on Saturday April 21 in Campbeltown, with both teams also top of the league.

Prior to kick off, all attending teams lined up for a minutes silence in memory of Nancy Glen fishermen Duncan MacDougall and Przemek Krawczyk.

Results: P4/5: Kintyre 2-7 Mid Argyll; Oban Lorne 5-0 Kintyre; Mid Argyll 2-1 Oban Lorne. P6/7: Kintyre 10-5 Oban Lorne; Mid Argyll 6-5 Kintyre; Oban Lorne 2-7 Mid Argyll.
