The summer season starts at Glenralloch tomorrow when golfers compete in the Fyne Tankard first round.

Captain Chris Smyth is hoping for a good turnout of members for the season’s first event.

Tarbert ladies have two competitions under their belt already. The April medal was won by Helen Samborek and Seona Martin, on 37 points, wong the April Stableford with Rona Young on 31 and Joanne Kerr third on 29.

This Sunday the ladies compete in the Coronation Foursomes.

All the usual ballot times are available for both competitions.

A new competition this year to honour Duncan MacDougall and Przemek Krawczyk is The TT100 Nancy Glen Open.

It is on Saturday May 5 and the competition is open to both ladies and men, and it will be played for in a Stableford format.

The entry fee is £12 and anyone wish to play should call the clubhouse on 01880 820565 or 07799 504790. All proceeds from the event will go to the Nancy Glen appeal.
