Corsages fit for to be worn on the wrist of any girl for prom night were made at Largieside SWI’s March meeting.

President Helen Steel welcomed members to Tayinloan village hall last Thursday and thanked them for coming.

An SWI spokesperson said: ‘The speaker for the evening was Largieside member Ann Clark who demonstrated making corsages.

‘After making several delightful corsages, Ann encouraged members to try their hands at making their own.

‘This they did with enthusiasm ending up with some lovely results.’

The hostesses for the evening were Enid Williams and Pat Rawson and the vote of thanks was given by Catherine Lowe.
