Unwanted civic Campbeltown town hall furniture sold by Argyll and Bute council has raised  £1,710 for the common good fund.

Items for sale, from the town hall and municipal buildings in Helensburgh, included a number of tables and chairs and gave members of the public the chance to buy a piece of civic history.

Funds from the Helensburgh furniture will be used to display other items of civic interest in the Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre

It’s not too late to buy some of these unique items as all un-sold furniture will go under the hammer at McTears Auctions in Glasgow on Friday March 16. To view the furniture for sale go to www.mctears.co.uk
