Mid Argyll Athletic Club’s sports hall athletics competition will slide into Campbeltown for the Kintyre heat.

The last of four area events in the series competitions will be held in Victoria Hall next Sunday, March 4.

Sports include running, jumping and throwing events in small arenas. The indoor setting brings the excitement of track and field events into sports halls, giving youngsters a taste of athletics in a warm, dry atmosphere.

There will be six events for six age groups, from under sevens to under 17s, with age being taken as at September 1 2017 and an entry fee of £2 per competitor.

Trophies will be awarded to the overall winners and all competitors taking part will receive a medal with ribbon.

Competition starts at 1pm with all entries on the day from 12.30pm.

Winners may qualify for the Argyll final on Sunday, March 25, at Atlantis Leisure in Oban.
