Residents of a tiny Kintyre village have added £2,000 to the Nancy Glen fund.

All members of Clachan’s community were involved in the events, which included a coffee evening last week, to raise money for the victims and families of the boat which sank in Loch Fyne in January.

This was generously added to with a collection from the congregation of Kilcalmonell Church.

The funds were further boosted by a donation from the ‘absolutely buzzing’ Tide Lines concert in Tarbert last Friday, organised and run by Clachan Village Hall committee to raise funds for redeveloping the hall.

The community of Clachan would like to thank all who generously contributed.
