STEPS dance group is holding a charity dance extravaganza in the town hall on Saturday February 24.

The licensed event is open to adults only and will feature routines by STEPS and performances by Kintyre singers, followed by a dance.

The event hopes to raise funds to support Linsey Cairns, youngest sister of their leader, Karen Cairns.

Linsey, who has already carried out charity work in Africa, fror CGS4Gambia,  will travel to Cambodia this summer to volunteer with UK registered charity, Future Sense Foundation.

Linsey has already raised £1000 for resources for the aid work in Cambodia, and the dance group hope that their show will help reach her £2000 target.

Karen, who is youth engagement officer at Campbeltown police office said: ‘Any additional funds raised will be donated to Campbeltown HUB for youth trips and activities’.

Tickets can be purchased from Numero Dix and the Burnside Bar. The show starts at 8pm and the doors will open at 7.15pm.
