Meals cooked in Campbeltown hospital’s kitchens will remain on the Welcome Rest menu despite a rumour of closure.

An NHS Highland spokesperson said: The kitchens at Campbeltown hospital will not be closing.

‘The staff provide an excellent service for patients, staff and visitors to the hospital.

‘The Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership is conducting a review of catering services across all sites.

‘This is to ensure that they continue to provide a high quality of service, remain productive and to measure customer satisfaction. ‘
