A 28-year-old man was issued with a recorded police warning after he was found in possession of cannabis. The car he was driving was stopped and searched at about 5.25pm, on Thursday January 18, on the A83 at Campbeltown.
Two teenagers, aged aged 16 and 17, were also stopped on the A83 later the same evening at about 8.15pm. They were also given recorded police warnings for cannabis possession.
Failure to stop
A car being driven in a careless manner and at excessive speed, for the conditions, failed to stop for police on the A83 in Campbeltown, at about 1.20am, last Saturday.
The vehicle was traced at Machrihanish Airbase and the 30-year-old driver was arrested and later charged with drink driving.
No vehicle excise licence
A car was stopped in High Street, Campbeltown, at about 8.50pm last Saturday, and enquiries revealed that it had no current excise licence in force.
The 53-year-old male driver will be reported to DVLA.
Urinating in public
A 24-year-old man was issued with a recorded police warning after he urinated in public on Main Street, Campbeltown, at about 2am, last Sunday.
A flat window was smashed in Albyn Avenue, Campbeltown, sometime between 8pm on Thursday January 18 and 11am on Sunday January 21.
Police are investigating and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
