Distillers Beinn an Tuirc are convinced its three day gin festival offers a complete cocktail of events.

Gintyre, jointly organised by Kintyre Gin, the Town Hall and Explore Campbeltown will fill the town with the clink of glasses from Friday April 20 to Sunday April 22.

Beinn an Tuirc chief, Niall Macalister Hall said: ‘We recently went live on social media with Kintyre’s very own gin festival which it is hoped will promote and benefit the area as a whole.

‘The weekend is scheduled to include a food pairing dinner at the Ardshiel on the Friday night, a gin festival at the Town Hall on Saturday afternoon with a variety of gin producers present, followed in the evening with a live band, an open day at Beinn an Tuirc Distillery and a gin themed film at Campbeltown Picture House on Sunday.

‘The idea is to spread the event across Kintyre and Gigha, and include as many other establishments and businesses as possible.

‘The involvement of each business can obviously vary, and we will promote and advertise each ‘fringe’ offering via social media and all other channels.’
