Half-a-dozen 180s were just some of the great darts at the Jimmy Taylor Memorial Doubles match.
Monday’s final, in the Fiddlers, was between the Kilbrannan A pair of Jamie McGougan and Greg Scally and the Burnside’s Charles Robertson and Gavin McLachlan.
A darts spokesperson said: ‘What a final it was with both pairs playing great darts and, taking the match to the last leg, the Kilbrannan pair retained the trophy they won last year.
‘Thanks to Carol and Jim Green for donating the bottle prizes and providing the venue.
‘Also to Leighanne for running about to find the light for the board after it was mislaid.’
During the match Jamie McGougan hit three 180s, Gavin McLachlan a pair of 180s and Alan Glen a single, Charles Robertson 177 and 171.
